Born in Virginia on December 27, 1983.

June 2002

Graduated Heritage High School

September 2002

Entered into Marines Bootcamp Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

October 2002

Graduated from Bootcamp Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

2006

Killed during combat on January 07, 2006 at the age of 22.

January 16th 2006

Funeral was held for Kyle at Tabernacle United Methodist Church.

January 17th 2006

Buried in Arlington National Cemetary with full Military honors.

January 17, 2006

Memorial held in Iraq for Kyle William Brown and two of his comrades, Brett Lundstrom and Jariad Jacobs who were killed on the same day as Kyle.

April 16th, 2006

2/6 Company returned home from IRAQ

April 21st 2006

Memorial held for all the men and women in the 2 Marine Division that lost their lives in IRAQ.

Kyle's helmet, boots, rifle and dogtags stood amoungst the many there.

May 2006

Kyle is honored on a statue that will forever stand in front of the City Hall in Poquosen, Virginia.

At the bottom of the statue it reads: Operation Iraqi Freedom with Kyle W. Brown underneath.

May 2006

A section of the Rose Garden on Warwick Blvd in Newport News, VA dedicated to Kyle.

Kyle went to the garden all the time with his grand mother and loved the roses.

His roses are called Veteran's Honor and Proud Land. They are gorgeous red roses with a lovely raspberry scent.
